We are currently seeking:

Summer Assistant

BW LNG is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Summer Assistant that can assist us during the summer from middle of June to middle/end of August. The main tasks will focus on BW LNG’s Gas Calculation Method, where you will analyze and describe an existing excel-based method for calculation of gas properties.
The main output for the summer assignment will be to document the BW Gas Calculation Method, including a step-by -step description of how it works. Further, to describe how the model can be programmed in a systematic, verifiable manner in a modern SW tool.

You will take part in a highly competent and multicultural team and learn the business and processes from a world leading maritime company. If you like challenges, are highly motivated and eager to learn, you may be the one we are looking for.

Qualifications:

• Will start 4th or 5th year of Chemistry related education
• Competent in general laws of physics and methods for calculation of multi component cryogenic gas and liquid properties
• Competent in MS Excel and other MS applications
• Experience in SW/application programming is an advantage
• Excellent command of English
